Counting my blessings today:

– Today my youngest daughter (Mallorie) and her husband (Jon) came down to visit from Tulsa. It was such a blessing to see and visit with them. I know the visit was a blessing for Dena too. Dena hadn’t been able to get away from the hospital in the past five days and I could tell it was wearing on her. Jon and Mallorie quickly agreed to take Dena out for lunch. They even brought me back an awesome red velvet cupcake!

– While Mallorie, Jon, and Dena were away for lunch, a good friend and coworker came by to cheer me up. It was great to see him as we don’t get to see each other face to face and we always enjoy a good conversation. It was so nice to have the company!
