““The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”
1 Kings 19:11-12 NIV
Today was mostly encompassed by sleep. There were some really good thunderstorms at home today and the sound of the heavy rain drops beating against the roof was very relaxing. Around lunch time, I moved to the recliner in the living room and opened the curtains to the back patio so I could enjoy watching the rain. Once the thunder subsided, it was very peaceful and relaxing.
Dena read that a side effect of this treatment is a fatigue that rest doesn’t appear to quickly resolve. I am still uncertain and a little apprehensive as to what “normal” is like while in this treatment but God showed me he even has that concern addressed. As I was beginning to feel a little anxious about what “normal” was, my mother-in-law phoned and shared some insight through her experiences and provided me with great encouragement. We had a good visit.
I’m just so amazed and awed that God continues to bring these blessings into my life at just the right times!
