“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalm 118:24

I woke up this morning feeling great! I don’t mean that my nausea wasn’t too bad or the pain was bearable… I felt great! To top it off, I had a night of restful sleep without memorable dreams and woke up next to the love of my life. What more could anyone ask?

One thing I am learning as I progress through the cancer recovery is the importance of living in the moment. The scriptures tell us, “do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34 NIV). A wise man once explained that “Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift…That’s why it is called the Present”.
